Problem:

After joining CryptoBootcamp Community, engagements were low and its weekly virtual event attendance was very low as well due to inconsistent Social Media Relations activities.

There was a need to reignite engagements and drive more traffic to the weekly voice chat sessions for education, membership growth, and retention.

Action:

• I first published a consistent streak of content that positioned CryptoBootcamp Community as a thought leader, along with educative content and engagement-driving content.

• I then approached influencers with organic regional audiences in West Africa, as well as leads of crypto communities with active members. And guided the positive responders on the following steps of the collaboration.

• Each partnering influencer, according to the terms of collaboration, promoted the event on their various social media handles.

• We included fun games, quizzes, and prizes to be won, all of which addressed two goals: community education, membership growth, and retention.

Tools:

Cold outreach: LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Telegram DMsSession Hosting: X Space and Telegram Voice ChatReward system: Traditional Banks and Crypto

Results:

• Each session attracted over 721 weekly live listeners and tune-ins on average.

• Our Telegram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn communities grew by at least 5–9% after every session, and engagement was boosted by a minimum of 300% each time.

• 5–9% community growth on every weekly X Space and Telegram voice chat session.

• Minimum of 300% boost in overall community engagements during and after each session, most of which came from the influencers’ audience.
